HOW FAR FROM NOI BAI AIRPORT (HAN) TO HALONG
Noi Bai airport (Hanoi airport) is the biggest international airport in northern Vietnam.
There are 2 routes to travel from Noi Bai airport to Halong City or back:
- Normal way: 170 kilometers & 3.5-4 hours
- New Express Way: 140 kilometers & 2.5-3 hours (recommended)
Using a private car or taxi is the most convenient and flexible to travel from airport.

- The above prices are per car, not per person and they are all inclusive (fuel, toll fees, and parking fees & New Express way fee between Hanoi and Halong)
- You do NOT have to pay any extra but only quoted price.
- You are not obligated to tip the driver unless you wanted to reward them for their good services.
Important things once you get to Airport:
- Do NOT follow any driver who do NOT have your name on since they might rip your off (usually double the price) with their affiliate taxi services or their own private car.
